One of the benefits of smart lighting is significant reduction of energy consumption. Using motion sensors in lighting systems is an example of smart lighting in which light source is turned on only in the presence of people and in other cases remains off. Two types of sensors- PIR and MICROWAVE- can be used in motion sensor lights. The combination of LED technology as well as motion sensors has created products that greatly reduce energy consumption and increase the life time of the lighting systems, this technology widely can be used in hallways, stairwells, parking lots and passageways of general buildings , offices and commercial centers.
